Alyse Beekman, M.A.
Alyse Beekman, M.A. is a
Behavioral Coach at Greenlight,
specializing in obesity and
weight management for
adolescents and adults. Her
treatment approach emphasizes
motivational and cognitive
behavioral techniques with
additional training in a
psychodynamic treatment
approach.
Alyse's experience in the field
includes working in the areas of
oncology, eating disorders and
in inpatient psychiatric
settings. She has a special
interest in diabetes and has
completed the American Diabetes
Association's Basic Course for
Diabetes Self-Management.
Alyse earned her Bachelors of
Arts Degree in Psychology from
The University of Michigan
and her Master of Arts Degree in
Psychology from The Ferkauf
Gradute School of Psychology at
Yeshiva University. Alyse has
successfully completed all of
her academic classes and
clinical work towards her
doctoral degree from The George
Washington University and
completed her internship at Holy
Name Hospital in Teaneck, New
Jersey.
